Our Work in AI Education

Expanding access to AI Education. Building skills, confidence and opportunities across Africa.

Since 2023, Brains for AI Africa has worked to expand access to AI education through learning programmes, mentorship and collaborations with educational institutions.

Our initiatives have focused on helping learners, educators and professionals develop practical AI knowledge and skills, particularly in communities where access to emerging technologies and learning opportunities is limited.

These experiences continue to shape our work as we expand towards strengthening institutional capacity for AI education through curriculum integration, educator development and sustainable learning programmes.

Building on Our Experience

Our work with learners, educators and educational institutions has reinforced an important lesson: expanding access to AI education requires more than individual training opportunities.

It also requires institutions with the knowledge, resources and capacity to make AI education part of their ongoing teaching and learning.

Today, we are building on our experience to support institutions in developing relevant curricula, strengthening educator capabilities and creating sustainable AI learning opportunities.
